One Hand is a documentary film by Johnny and Rebecca Weixler about the heroic efforts of peacemakers and activists to ensure and promote interfaith harmony throughout Egypt. The film highlights some of the positive trends in interfaith relations in Egypt that took place just prior to and during the Egyptian revolution that began on January 25th, 2011 in Tahrir Square. One Hand also takes a look at the rising political influence of Islamism in Egypt–especially due to the parliamentary gains of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party and the Salafi Nour Party. While Western media tends to focus on the clashes that occur between Muslims and Coptic Christians in Egypt, One Hand demonstrates that those clashes are only half of the story.

One Hand is an independent documentary: Johnny and Rebecca Weixler used their left-over wedding gift money to finance the project because of their belief in the importance of honoring those who honor the freedom of all men to pursue truth in peace.
